Sarah F. ’24 is Student of the Month

Chosen from faculty nominations for students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic life at Foxcroft, the Student of the Month is not solely concerned with classroom performance — the award also recognizes students who contribute positively to the classroom environment, demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity, and take advantage of the full scope of Foxcroft's academic program. The most recent recipient of this honor is senior Sarah F.!
Before presenting Sarah with her award, STEM teacher Dr. James Sweeney shared comments from the teachers who nominated her, including her Spanish teacher, who wrote, "She has a high level of dedication to everything she does, and her kind heart is hard to match."

Her English teacher offered, "She worked super hard in AP Lit to improve her grade after struggling on the first assessment. She is not afraid of a little work. She is a great model for other students and demonstrates that even though we may face academic challenges, resilience and dedication to hard work result in academic growth."

Dr. Sweeney finished with his own nomination comments. "She's loud, she's proud, and she works hard. Whether in class with me or with her tutor, she is always striving to do better. No one's absence is more notable than when Sarah is not in class."

Congratulations, Sarah!
