Varsity Basketball Receives Multiple All-GPAC Honors!

Varsity Basketball has much to be proud of this year with its first-ever trip to the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) state tournament and three All-GPAC (Greater Piedmont Athletic Conference) recognitions! Capping their season with a GPAC Runner-up plaque and a hard-fought but unfortunate loss in the VISAA tournament first round, Varsity Basketball received the following All-GPAC honors:
First Team All-Conference
Tashae’ A. ’25
Irene B. ’24

Second Team All-Conference
Sarah F. ’24

“It filled my heart with joy to see these student-athletes honored by the GPAC,” shared Coach Whittney Preston. “All three were top scorers for the team this year, each with over 100 points. They all work at both ends of the floor, securing rebounds and steals for the team. They work hard each day in practice and leave it all on the court each game. It is wonderful to see their hard work and effort recognized. I am beyond proud of them!”

Congratulations to all!
