Student of the Month is Cierra C. ’25

Chosen from faculty nominations for students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic life at Foxcroft, the Student of the Month is not solely concerned with classroom performance — the award also recognizes students who contribute positively to the classroom environment, demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity and take advantage of the full scope of Foxcroft's academic program. The most recent recipient of this honor is junior Cierra C.!
Before presenting Cierra with her award, Dean of Academics and English Department Chair Steve McCarty shared comments from the teachers who nominated her, including her history teacher who offered, “Cierra did a great job in the debates over the primary cause of the Civil War. She and her partner made their project into a rap. It was entertaining, creative, and accurate, which is a hard thing to achieve.”

Her math and English teachers both commended Cierra on her ability to keep up with work while maintaining a regular riding schedule at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). Her English teacher particularly noted her standout personal narrative.

Congratulations, Cierra!
